Senior Full Stack Engineer | SIND (Caretomo) | Remote

At SIND, we are building Caretomo, an AI-powered clinical documentation platform that helps nurses and doctors in Japan spend less time on paperwork and more time with patients.

Our product combines real-time speech recognition, clinical summarization, and structured note generation, and is designed to fit directly into hospital workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our small, high-impact engineering team.

 

Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own product development across the stack, from backend systems to frontend experiences. You will work closely with AI engineers and clinicians to deliver features used in real clinical settings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strong ownership, fast iteration, and building systems that directly improve healthcare operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product features from backend APIs to frontend UI
• Design, build, and scale core application architecture and database infrastructure
• Develop and maintain systems using Postgres, AWS RDS Aurora, and cloud-native services
• Integrate real-time AI services such as speech recognition, summarization, and NLU through AWS and Azure
• Deploy, optimize, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product members, and clinicians to ship impactful features
• Improve system reliability, performance, and developer productivity
• Perform additional engineering responsibilities as needed in a fast-moving startup environment

 

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong backend development skills with technologies such as Nextjs, Django, FastAPI, Node.js, AWS Lambda, Postgres, and SQL
• Solid frontend development experience
• Strong product mindset with the ability to think across the full system
• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team

 

Preferred

• Experience with AWS or Azure AI services
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience in healthcare, medtech, or other regulated industries

 

Compensation

• Full-time: ¥700,000 – ¥900,000 / month, depending on experience + SO

AIエンジニアや医療現場のメンバーと密に連携しながら、実際の臨床現場で使われる機能を形にしていく役割です。

業務内容

• バックエンドAPIからフロントエンドUIまでのフルスタック新機能開発・コードレビュー
• コアアプリケーションおよびデータベース基盤の設計・開発・スケーリング
• Postgres、AWS RDS Aurora などを用いたシステム構築・運用
• AWS・AzureのAIサービスを活用したム連携
• （音声認識、要約、NLU など）
• AWS上でのクラウドインフラのデプロイ、最適化、保守
• AIエンジニア、プロダクトメンバー、医療現場と連携した機能開発
• システムの信頼性、性能、開発生産性の改善
• スタートアップ環境におけるその他関連業務

 

【応募資格】

必須条件

• フルスタック開発経験5年以上
• Django、FastAPI、Node.js、AWS Lambda、Postgres、SQL などを用いた強いバックエンド開発経験
• フロントエンド開発経験
• チケット単位ではなく、システム全体を考えられるプロダクト志向
• リモートかつグローバルなチーム環境で働けること

• AWS / Azure AIサービスの利用経験
• Infrastructure as Code（IaC）の経験
• 医療、メドテック、または規制業界での開発経験

給与・報酬

• 正社員：月額70万円〜90万円（経験に応じて決定） + SO
