Spike Studio’s team consists primarily of Japanese members, though it also includes some international staff. As a result, the company requires candidates to have business-level Japanese communication skills to collaborate effectively with local team members.

Spike Studio provides paid leave in accordance with Japanese labor law, along with 5 days of summer vacation and 5 days of year-end and New Year holidays.

The company also offers special leave for family events and care leave when needed, and encourages employees to take their paid leave proactively.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Document Screening
  Your resume and background is reviewed to evaluate overall fit.

• Aptitude Test (not used for pass/fail decisions)
  A simple assessment to understand your strengths and working style.

• First Interview (about 60 minutes)
  Includes a 20-minute company introduction video followed by a 40-minute interview.
• Coding Test (affects the final decision)
  A practical test to assess your programming and problem-solving skills.

• Final Interview (30–60 minutes)
  A discussion with managers to confirm alignment in expectations, skills, and team fit.
