Almost all engineers are from outside of Japan, so TenTen doesn't require Japanese skills for engineering positions.

However, communication with other teams and clients may benefit from you speaking some Japanese. In essence, TenTen will support you but highly appreciate it when members make an effort to speak some Japanese.

The exact number of days depends on when you join the company, but the maximum is 12 PTO days your first year.

TenTen also offers 10 sick days, as well as 4 days you can use for summer holidays and year-end holidays. Lastly, they have "birthday" vacation days.

TenTen is a remote-first company and allows full remote work for engineering members. Outside of engineering, it may depend on the position however.

TenTen plans to continue this full remote policy even once COVID-19 is no longer a factor.

TenTen's typical work hours are from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, with a 1-hour lunch break for a total of 8 hours.
