Position Overview

We are urgently hiring an IT Deskside Support Engineer to join our team supporting a global client in central Tokyo. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong technical support experience who are comfortable communicating in English within an international team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • On-site deskside user support for a global enterprise client
  • Communicate and coordinate with IT vendors and service providers
  • Provide remote hands support for overseas IT teams
  • Escalate incidents to global IT teams
  • Liaise with hardware/software vendors for support
  • Occasional domestic travel (within Japan)

 

Tools & Systems Used

  • Okta Verify / Okta End-User Dashboard
  • Google Workspace
  • BMC (Ticketing system)

 

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT deskside support (onsite, remote, and face-to-face)
  • Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
