Responsibilities of DevOps Engineer

Gaussy's vision is "Logistics gets you there". Gaussy is developing services to solve various companies' logistics issues, including "Roboware," a warehouse robot subscription service, and "WareX," a sharing warehouse service, under the vision.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll take responsibility for our Kubernetes and GCP environments. You will build architectures, systems, and processes that help to ensure our applications are always available and performing as effectively as possible. You’ll build and distribute tools and systems that keep development environments aligned with deployment environments. You will evaluate and troubleshoot deployment environments to improve efficiency, reliability and security.

1. Develop high-quality systems and architectures

2. Manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines

3. Track, manage, and document automated deployments

4. Plan and implement infrastructure updates with minimal downtime

5. Build tools to identify and reduce errors and improve overall customer experience

6. Investigate and resolve technical issues

7. Execute root-cause analysis of errors and performance issues

8. Align development environments with production environments

9. Work with developers to select and/or build infrastructure components necessary to support application design

10. Develop software to integrate with internal systems

11. Optimize Kubernetes deployments for efficiency, reliability, and security

DevOpsエンジニアとして、当社のKubernetesおよびGCP環境に対して責任を負っていただきます。当社のアプリケーションが常に利用可能で、可能な限り効果的に動作することを保証するためのアーキテクチャ、システム、およびプロセスを構築します。開発環境とデプロイ環境の整合性を保つためのツールやシステムを構築し、配布など、デプロイ環境の評価とトラブルシューティングを行い、効率性、信頼性、安全性を向上させるためのエンジニアリングを行なっていただきます。

Required Skills and Experience

1. Experience as a DevOps Engineer

5. Familiarity with CircleCI, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines

6. Familiarity with Go, Javascript, or Python

7. Analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude

10. Fluency in either English or Japanese
