What We are Building
Monochrome is building a package of devices and software for next-generation houses. Global warming has become a severe problem that can no longer be ignored, and we live in a world where businesses and households must step up their efforts to become carbon-free. So the houses they build now must have high environmental performance and the ability to produce renewable energy such as solar panels.
But the problem is that the average house builder doesn’t know how to build such houses (in Japan, at least.) There’s lots of research and products to realize such houses, but we can’t say they are used properly and widely.
Also, to improve the environmental performance of houses and create better living experiences, it is critical to install appropriate hardware and integration software that coordinates all the devices in the house. However, the average house builder also lacks such technology and experience.
So Monochrome offers a package of devices and software and/or whole houses that are intelligent and eco-friendly. Individuals can buy houses from us with clear and simple steps. House builders can buy packages from us, install them in their houses, and sell them to individuals.
