Responsibilities:

Design and execute test scenarios for various components of ASRS product
Design and execute integration tests among various components.
Work closely with the product manager to understand customer workflows and proactively come up with test plans to ensure robustness of customer operations.
Report bugs to the software engineering team and follow up on bug fixes
Work with field engineers to enable them to deploy the product at customer sites.
Be the interface between field engineers and software engineering team if any quality issues are found at customer sites.

Requirements

Minimum skills:

Background in robotics quality assurance
Basic knowledge of ROS
Basic skills for QA testing of web applications
Experience in testing large scale heterogeneous systems with many components
Ability to break down a problem into subproblems and prioritize them
At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience in using a Linux/Unix environment

Preferred skills:

Able to pick up new technologies on the fly
Basic familiarity with networking concepts is a plus
Able to plan and execute tests independently given high level objectives from product team
Good communication skills, able to present their work to non-technical audiences
Japanese communication skills are a plus
