Senior ReactJS Frontend Engineer

Job brief

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible for building the client-side of our web applications.You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Responsibilities

1. Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web experiences
2. Maintain and improve application
3. Optimize applications for performance and usability
4. Design mobile-based features
5. Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
6. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
7. Write functional requirement documents and guides
8. Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
9. Ensure high quality standards and brand consistency
10. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

1. +5 years proven work experience as a Frontend Engineer
2. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process
3. Understanding of layout aesthetics
4. Experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, Javascript, Tailwind CSS)
5. Experience with multiple frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, VueJS)
6. Experience with browser testing and debugging
7. Experience with development tools (e.g. Git, Github, Docker)
8. Experience with software like Adobe Suite
9. Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels in English
10. Excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels of seniority
11. Great attention to detail
12. Organizational skills

Nice to have

1. Familiarity integrating third party APIs
2. Can communicate in Japanese with our internal teams
3. Experience developing and operating SaaS products and services
4. Familiarity with back-end development
