To support our business expansion, we are strengthening our Engineering team and are seeking a Senior Research Scientist who can leverage their technical skills and creativity to tackle diverse and impactful challenges without being restricted by specific roles.
Mission of the Position
- Collaborate with overseas teams to develop models necessary for carbon credits and MRV.
- Mentor and nurture research scientist, fostering the next-generation senior research scientist.
Job Description
The role involves developing and calibrating process-based models to evaluate soil carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries for the purposes of carbon credits and MRV. Publishing peer-reviewed papers is also one of the integral parts of the job. As a mentor, you will guide research scientists and data scientists in their research and development projects.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research scientists and data scientists to develop and publish process-based models and machine learning models that contribute to estimate soil carbon sequestration and GHG emissions.
- Design new PoC projects in collaboration with the CRO.
