Overview

Money Forward is on a mission to become a global Big Tech company, continuously growing and evolving. However, remnants of our startup days still linger in our SaaS operations, sometimes hindering our growth. To transform our IT environment to one befitting an enterprise-level company, we are seeking a SaaS Management Specialist who can lead the improvement of SaaS management by engaging both internal and external stakeholders.

 

About the Team

The ID & SaaS Management Division within our Global IT Department (our internal IT department) is responsible for designing, building, and operating ID systems integrated with HR systems, managing EntraID, and handling user provisioning from EntraID. The department also manages SaaS account settings, improvements, usage promotion, and procurement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and budget management of company-standard SaaS and SaaS used by many employees for specific purposes
  • Configuration and privileged management of SaaS with a focus on security
  • Centralized access rights management for SaaS operations within the IT department
  • Planning and conducting utilization workshops in collaboration with vendors
  • Verification, security checks, and activation of AI features in SaaS
  • SaaS integration and replacement
  • SSO/SCIM configuration

 

Role Expectations

Your mission is to introduce necessary controls as an enterprise company while respecting Money Forward's culture and pace. Lead improvement activities to build a SaaS management system that allows employees to use SaaS stress-free and securely, earning trust from customers and partner companies.

Specific Tasks Include:

  • Optimizing the use of storage services (Google Drive, Box)
  • Balancing access rights/information management and productivity in collaboration tools
  • Establishing, disseminating, and improving operational rules for company-wide tools like chat and document management
  • Providing standard operational policies for department-introduced SaaS
  • Participating in SaaS replacement projects (depending on timing)
  • Technical operations such as SSO/SCIM configuration

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing SaaS in a mega-venture or enterprise company
  • Skills to communicate across departments and extract true issues from user request
  • Ability to document As-Is, To-Be, Gap, and Action plans and reach consensus with stakeholders
  • Open-mindedness to new environments

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing SaaS for over 1,000 users
  • Experience as a Google Workspace administrator
  • Experience in standardizing operations and creating procedure manuals
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization
  • Experience in business improvement using AI tools
  • Experience managing EntraID
  • Project leadership experience
  • Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.

Language Requirements

  • Native-level of Japanese proficiency
  • Business-level English proficiency (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or higher)
