Your Job

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall backend development of all of our existing and new product lines including our flagship product 「Sales Marker」. If you prefer, you can have the opportunity to make use of your front-end, machine learning, SRE, and other skills in our team as well.

 

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience (flexible as time ≠skills) working as a backend engineer, preferably in a tech or product-focused company.
  • Proficiency in schema design and efficient database querying (MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB).
  • Strong experience in backend application architecture, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  • Proactive ownership of projects from conception to completion.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo to enhance system performance.

 

Nice to have

  • Strong Experience working with MySQL.
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Experience in handling large data processing pipelines and batches.
  • Proficiency in containerization, cloud deployments (AWS preferred), and CI/CD processes.
  • History of handling major incidents in large tech companies.
  • Background in fast-growing companies at stages comparable to Sales Marker.
  • Domain expertise and contributions to popular Open Source projects.
  • Experience with TypeScript and Go in backend service operations.
  • Leadership experience as a Tech Lead, overseeing backend service development.
  • Fluency in English or Japanese.
