What’s AniLive?

We develop and operate AniLive, a mobile streaming app specifically designed for virtual streamers and their fans in English-speaking countries.

On this platform, streamers can become "AniLivers" with their own avatars, allowing them to start streaming from "anytime, anywhere" and earn income. As viewers, the vertical streaming experience on AniLive enables them to enjoy communication with their favorite AniLivers from a close distance, experiencing a new level of engagement including various gift animations.

With the release of AniLive, our company aims to revolutionize the virtual streaming industry and bring more fun to the global anime/VTuber community!

Position Summary

We need a talented UI designer who can be excited about visualizing the next amazing AniLive experience with cross-functional teams. This position will take responsibility for establishing our visual language and developing it into actual products.

What you will do

Collaborate with the PO, PdM, and other stakeholders to confirm requirements, needs, and the background for new features.
Align expectations for design aspects and clearly articulate the desired output.
Use Figma to create initial drafts and develop prototypes as needed.
Design user flows and wireframes.

What you will bring

Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku!
5+ years of experience in a UI designer role with native mobile applications
Able to clearly explain the design concepts and the rationale behind your creations
Fluent or native level Japanese is required
Work experience with cross-functional teams; Product managers, engineers, and other designers
Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator

Bonus Points

Business level English
Experience in adaptable learning and applying new technologies and trends in projects
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience using After Effects is plus
Previous work experience at startups
