About the Role

We are seeking a Web Developer to develop and maintain web services and APIs to support our learning platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of the platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web services and APIs to support the learning platform, including web-based tools for software development curriculum
Create and maintain technical documentation related to the learning platform and its services
Ensure the platform's scalability, performance, and security

Key Qualifications

Strong programming skills in JavaScript and at least 2 non-script-like programming languages.
Knowledge of SQL and how to make queries fast and scalable.
Familiarity with various software architecture patterns and best practices.
Proficient in business English. Japanese language skills are a plus.
Knowledge of Python is a bonus.

Employment conditions

Contract Type: Full-time employee (including 3 months probationary period)
Working hours: 09:00~18:00 (1 hour lunch break, 8 hours work)
Flextime: Flexible working hours depending on role
Salary: 7,000,000 JPY ~ 9,000,000 JPY (may vary depending on skills and experience)
Vacations: 2 days off per week, Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, summer and winter vacation, annual paid vacations (20 days granted after the second year), childcare leave, menstrual leave, etc.
