Overview

We are seeking highly experienced backend engineers who are responsible for designing and developing backend systems for our new Identity and Access Management product.
We hope to enhance the value of our collaboration software with the new product and allow our customers to experience better teamwork.
It also works as an identity provider for other cloud services for single-sign-on.
We will use technology such as OAuth2/OIDC, gRPC, Kubernetes, and distributed databases to build the backend of the new product.
As a staff backend software engineer, you will analyze the business and technical requirements, design software and systems, and implement them perfectly yourself.
You will be responsible for the quality and maintainability of your code, so you must be a very good document writer and setup continuous integration systems with a good set of tests.
In the early stage, you will also be responsible for running the services on Google Cloud and dealing with incidents.

Position Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to design our backend systems
Implement the designed system yourself with good documentation and tests
Review other backend engineers' design and code
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product designers, and architects
Build CI/CD pipelines
Run and operate the backend services on Google Cloud

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

10+ years of experience working in development roles in software engineering
Experience in creating significant software products from scratch. You must show your code and documents.
Hands-on experience in writing software in Go
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD
Very good command of English

Additional Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with Google Cloud, Terraform, gRPC, Kubernetes, or Istio/Envoy
Experience in writing software in Java
Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, and SAML

Location

Based on the premise of working in Japan, you can choose the work location nationwide.
Office list
Visa sponsorship and relocation support will be provided for those who do not reside in Japan.

Core collaboration time: Tue-Fri 9 am-11 am

Salary Range

11,000,000 - 13,000,000 JPY （Bonus Included）
