Recruitment Background

At Money Forward, we offer a variety of services to address various financial challenges, including "Money Forward Cloud" for businesses and "Money Forward ME" for individuals.

This is a management position that oversees and manages the quality of various services across the board. At Money Forward, we have two quality assurance positions: QA Engineer and SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test). You will work in collaboration with these quality engineers to fulfill our mission, while also engaging with developers involved in the products to ensure the quality of a range of products across departments.

You will report directly to the Chief Quality Officer (CQO), Juichi Takahashi, and the stakeholder manager of MFBC.

Main Responsibilities

Formulating and tracing quality management processes such as test plans and release assessments
Quality management using metrics
Improving the quality of requirement specifications
Setting the desired quality standards for the company, handling issues, and negotiating with stakeholders
Understanding and promoting next-generation quality technologies (shift-left, non-functional requirements)

*You will belong to both the primary MFBC (Money Forward Business Company) and the Corporate CQO Office.

Desired Skills and Experience

Management experience in an organization of five or more people
Holder of ISTQB Advanced Level certification (especially Test Manager certification preferred) or equivalent knowledge
Over three years of development experience or over three years of test automation experience using scripting languages
Bachelor's degree in information processing or computer science, or equivalent knowledge (such as the Basic Information Technology Engineer Examination)

Language Proficiency

Japanese: None
English: Basic business level (equivalent to TOEIC score of 700 or above)

Remote Work
Money Forward requires 1 in-office day per week (so up to 4 days per week of remote work).
Work style
In terms of work hours, Money Forward offers a full flex time schedule. There may be core time in certain circumstances (e.g., new grad positions), but for mid-level or above, there is no core time for engineering or product teams. In that case, your work hours will be completely flexible.
