Overview
At Money Forward Inc., we continue to push the boundaries of financial innovation. As the volume of such data increases annually, a highly scalable system architecture is essential to ensure that the data can be used stably by each service.
The CTO's office is looking for a team of individuals who can collaborate to develop a common infrastructure. This infrastructure will deliver large-scale data to the service side more quickly and robustly through a microservice that accesses such data.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be tasked with setting project specifications and guiding the technical direction of our initiatives. You will establish a framework of technical standards and procedures to ensure consistency and oversee the quality of software and system modifications. Additionally, you will play a key role in guiding team members as they troubleshoot technical issues. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies, and conducting comprehensive assessments to develop innovative solutions that enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Additionally, you will gain extensive business knowledge, particularly in managing data systems through account aggregation and their application across services. You will also contribute to the planning and implementation of infrastructure measures that enhance service stability, complementing your primary responsibilities for technological advancement and operational excellence.
Qualification
- 10+ years experience in development/operation of medium to large scale web services (preferably in Go, Java or willingness to catch up)
- Knowledge of databases, particularly relational databases and SQL
- Experience in designing and developing Web APIs and microservices
- Experience in data model design
- Experience in providing technical guidance and making decisions, essential for managing projects
- Experience in software architecture and systems testing, ensuring robustness and scalability of solutions
Nice-to-have
- Experience in building systems on AWS
- Knowledge of software architecture design based on DDD
- Experience working in multinational teams
- Experience building with Kafka
- Experience in leading teams
Required language skills
- Business level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or above equivalent)
- Japanese proficiency is a bonus (not mandatory)

Location, Hybrid Work
As a standard practice, a minimum of 2 days work from office attendance is mandatory, designated as team office days. Additionally, employees are encouraged to spend 3 or more days in the office.
