- Japanese Language Policy
PayPay Card started internationalizing our engineering teams in 2024. They are looking for someone who has business English proficiency and an open mind to embrace Japanese culture.
PayPay Card is building up an English speaking product engineering team from scratch. They are on the move of creating an international friendly environment like PayPay's Product Division, where English is the main language and having interpreters who can provide simultaneous translation when necessary.
- Paid Leave
- Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays, National holidays (in Japan), Year-End and New Year Holidays, Company-designated special days
- Paid Leave: Annual leave (up to 16 days in the first year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment. Can be used from the date of hire)

- Engineer Interview Process
PayPay Card's Hiring process are as below:
- Application Review (English CV is required)
- Coding Test or Take Home Assignment (only applied to required positions)
- 3-4 Interviews (including both technical and behavioral interview)
- Offer Meeting
- Remote Work
PayPay Card Engineering Team (depending on positions) has a full remote working style that allows you to live anywhere in Japan. There may be times you are asked to come to the office for team building and other activities. However, as long as you are living in Japan, you can generally live and work wherever you want.

- Super Flex Time with no core time
- In principle, from 9:00am - 5:45pm (actual working hours: 7h45m + 1h break)
