About You
In this role you will
- Lead the development of a product roadmap and strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new product opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog.
- Develop business cases for new products and enhancements, including market opportunity analysis, customer validation, and financial modeling.
- Partner with design, engineering, and sales teams to bring products to market and ensure their successful launch.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments, and continuously evaluate the competitiveness of the company's product offerings.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the accounting/finance industry and the unique needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA and Asana.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Native Japanese (or JPLT N2 equivalent) and business-level English proficiency.
