Infrastructure Engineer - Tech Division

1.SRE Engineer

Position Details

• Virtual machine provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Rakuten private cloud based on requests coming from the above Internet service product teams. Provisioning includes network & middleware configurations.
• Enhance operational quality, standardization (tools and processes), and automation.
• Selection, verification, and introduction of new infrastructure environment and tools to be introduced into services.
• Automating releases while building, maintaining, and continuously improving the CI/CD pipeline.
• Build on-premises / cloud environment, construct service architectures, and automate.
• Promote SRE best practices and work with our team to securely implement an innovative approach to operations and services.
• Continuously improve alerts and monitoring to quickly detect and respond to service-impacting issues.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Over 3 years experience as a SRE team member or leader.
• Basic experience of managing various types of Linux OS.
• Demonstrated experience with using Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Bitbucket, Github.
• Experience with Jenkins (recommended), BitBucket, or other CI tools.
• Any experience with monitoring technologies such as ELK, PagerDuty, Grafana, Prometheus.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PHP, Ruby, Shell).
• Any experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Basic experience of Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized platform technologies.

2.Network Engineer

Mandatory Qualifications

• Full technical knowledge, configure and implementation of Dynamic Routing Protocol OSPF/BGP/MPLS/VXLAN/SRv6 in　backbone networking and data center networking
• Full technical knowledge, configure and implementation of Layer 2 technology such as TRILL and Multi-Chassis Link-Aggregation
• Understand basic knowledge of Firewall, Load Balancer and DNS architecture and technologies
• Work experience in DevOps environment with  Ansible/Jenkins/Git
• Not only network admin related role, but also appx. 5 years operation experience and good at troubleshooting in Linux/Unix Operation System
• Proactive mindset with a self-starter attitude in finding and identifying possible network issues and coming up with proposals for resolution
• Quick learner in new technologies and upcoming trends

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or similar 
• Experience of Network Management by utilizing open source software programming 
• Experience of development and implement Automation scripts in one or more of the following: Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash and other programming language 
• Experience of  Linux/Unix server development and administration
• Basic knowledge and have deployment experience of public cloud(AWS/Azure/GCP) 
• Ability to work in an international oriented environment interacting with global team members in all over the world 
• A DevOps and Agile mindset when deploying and creating tools
