Job description

As an engineer, you will mainly work on planning, development, and operations related to products and our main services. You will work to create the new "norm" where all working people worldwide will use our services every day, as we become infrastructure for the business world.

You will work in a team efficiently and feel a sense of accomplishment after finishing each sprint.

We also host events in our free space area, such as lightning talk and reading sessions, internal hackathons, and group study sessions with other companies.

Required experience

  • Upcoming graduates with a degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a technology-related field with an emphasis on software development.
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
    • Web Application Engineer
      • Web application development with any development languages.
    • MLOps/DevOps Engineer
      • Development experience with Python, C#, Go, etc.
      • Fundamentals of machine learning.
    • Business-level English proficiency

Preferred experience

  • Team development
  • Web Application Engineer
    • Development working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • MLOps/DevOps Engineer
    • Experience as an MLOps Engineer or DevOps Engineer
  • Daily conversational-level Japanese proficiency

 

Employment type

  • Full-time (正社員)
  • Probation period; First 6 months after joining the company (during this time, conditions are the same as permanent employment)

Remote work is permitted, though employees must work at the office at least (A) 3 times per week or (B) 1 time per week.

 

Salary

  • Expected annual: starting at 5,600,000 JPY
  • Monthly: 400,000 JPY
    • Base: 324,000 JPY
    • Overtime: 76,000 JPY
  • Bonus: Twice annually (January & July)
  • Raise: Annually

Note:

  • Salary includes 30 hours of overtime pay (irrespective of whether any overtime is worked) as per Japanese Labor Laws
  • Any overtime beyond this will be paid additionally (though is discouraged)
  • For engineering and research and development positions, compensation will be individually determined based on experience and programming abilities.
