Background

We use PHP to develop our property management console applications, which is one of our key products. As part of a global engineering organization, we expect you to accelerate our product improvements. You will be working closely with product managers, product designers, sre, backend, frontend, and mobile application engineers to deliver growth to our products.

What You Will Do

  • Brainstorm and discuss with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and FrontEnd Engineers to build new features, architectures, etc.
  • Develop web applications by using PHP and Symfony, which includes both backend and web frontend implementation.
  • Maintain and improve existing products(mainly PHP).
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipeline by using gitlab ci , k8s, docker, terraform and so on.
  • (Optional) Develop a new API with modern technology such as Go for architecture improvement.

Required Requirements

Technical Skill

  • 3+ years of web application development experience, including both backend and web frontend
  • 1+ years of building software development with PHP.

  • Business level English proficiency(80% of engineers are non-Japanese. We are a very international team.)
  • Highly organized person.
  • Have motivation for team development.
  • Empathy for Behavior Identity of WealthPark.
  • Be able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make decisions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and find ways to solve issues and requirements.

Preferable Requirements

  • Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2
  • Experience leading technical decisions.
  • Experience designing architecture.
  • Experience developing web products using Symfony or equivalent framework.
  • Experience developing products using docker , k8s.
  • Experience developing products using No-SQL and RDB or equivalent understanding.
  • Experience developing on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud systems or equivalent understanding.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD.
  • Experiences in development by other programming languages, like Ruby, Go, Python, etc.
