However, you need to be able to understand written documentation in Japanese and communicate well enough verbally to work autonomously.

Engineer Interview Process
1. Online interview (15 minutes)
2. Casual team meeting (1 hour)
3. Trial project working with the AtHearth team (up to three days)
The purpose of the trial project period is to confirm that your skills are up to the expected level, so if you prove that in under three days, it may end in less time than that.
Remote Work
AtHearth allows manager level employees to work remotely up to 1 day a week, but everyone else is expected to come into the office.
Work style
Discretionary labor: Actual working hours are flexible, but in general they expect 8 hours of work per day, with core time from 10:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

They usually work at the office for 7 hours with flex-time work for another 1-2 hours after that.
