IT Director (Digital Bank)

Overview

Money Forward has started considering the provision of BaaS/digital banking in collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
We are recruiting an IT Director for this initiative.

About Us

We are a startup team partnering with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new digital bank. Our primary focus is to build embedded financial products from scratch, prioritizing support for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Responsibilities and Duties

Our goal is to shape the future of digital banking in Japan by developing more user-friendly and accessible products. This position will be responsible for the information systems of this new bank.

• Build the information systems for the new digital bank from scratch, including systems like IdP/MDM/EDR/CASB/SASE. The devices supported will include both Windows and MacBook.
• Start with Money Forward's corporate IT. Since everything will be provided through a business outsourcing contract, internalization necessary for the launch will be carried out.
• Recruit and manage a team of several members, designing, building, and operating the entire system with Money Forward's IT department called Global IT department.
• Extract value from AI and SaaS to support new banking operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 5 years of experience in engineering management.
• Experience managing a team of 5 or more members.
• Over 10 years of experience in information systems-related work.
• Basic knowledge of information systems-related technologies, including IdP/MDM/EDR/CASB/SASE.
• Bachelor's degree in information processing or computer science, or equivalent knowledge.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of networks and security.
• Knowledge and experience with AWS.
• Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Business level
• English: TOEIC score of 800 or above, able to participate and speak in English meetings.
