Job Description
U-NEXT is looking for a strong and skilled designer with a solid portfolio to take on the challenge of building a sustainable brand.
This talented individual would need to:
- Have a strong sense of typography
- Be very creative
- Not be afraid of failure
- Be willing to push and refine their designs to go from good to great
- Be a fully-fledged designer capable of handling advertising, print, motion, UI/UX
- Be able to manage projects from start to finish
- Be reliable
- Have a strong understanding of what brand consistency is and its requirements
- Be able to lead and mentor young designers
- Be ready to fight for high standards and quality and not compromise
Design education (although not specifically formal) and experience required.
Business level English and Japanese required.
Interview requirements:
- Bring images of 2 design projects (not yours specifically) that you think are good for one and great for the other, and a simple explanation of why you do think so

Salary
- Includes 45 hours of fixed overtime (¥2,091,329 - ¥3,121,387)
- Extra 45 hours will be paid in accordance with our work rules
- Based on skills, experience, and abilities
- Reviewed once a year
